How to make Seamoss Gel

1. Firstly wash and remove all sea debris, particles or dirt using filtered or spring water. Do this twice making sure it is cleaned thoroughly.

2. Place washed sea moss into a large bowl and cover with spring, alkaline or filtered water. Make sure all is covered by a generous amount as the sea moss will expand. Allow it to soak for 24 hours or overnight. You do not have to put it in the refrigerator leave it on the counter at room temperature.

3. Remove the sea moss from the water and put onto a plate. Do not discard the water when ready to blend as it contains all nutrients from the sea moss unless there is still debris in the water.

4. Using a high powered blender add sea moss and a 1 cup of water (Do not use tap water) to start. You can add as you go along until it’s your desired consistency.

5. Blend until smooth, roughly 3 minutes. Once finished transfer to an air tight container of your liking and refrigerate. The sea moss will then thicken in the fridge.
